How Does It Work?
The program is funded by the federal government via a grant to counties. Madera County provides additional funds to support the program. Madera County has approved Eastern Madera Recreation and Parks to run the administration and daily operations of the program for the county.
EMRAP will host the program Monday thru Friday from 11am to 1pm . Site attendants will enroll new Seniors, take meal counts for the following day, serve lunch and clean up.
Important Information
• This program serves Seniors 60+ years of age. Caregivers or spouses of enrolled Seniors may also enroll.
• Meals must be ordered by 11:30am PRIOR to the day you plan to attend.
• You may order meals by email, in person with the site attendant or by phone.
• Suggestion contribution of $2.50 for enrolled Seniors with a non-Senior rate of $7.25 per person.
